These terms govern your use of the Loud iOS app. By downloading or using Loud, you agree to them. Please read the subscription and "lifetime" sections carefully — they explain exactly what you're paying for.
01 The agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Loud ("we", "us") regarding your use of the Loud iOS application and related services. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Your use of the App Store is additionally governed by Apple's terms.
02 The app
Loud is a personal app for recording the live music gigs you've attended and want to attend. The free tier includes unlimited gig logging, statistics, a selection of badges, limited photos per gig, and sharing features. Loud is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
03 Loud+ subscription
Loud+ is an optional paid upgrade unlocking additional features (such as voice notes, expanded photo limits, Apple Music album attachments, year-end Wrapped, additional badges, and a watermark-free share card). Loud+ is offered as:
- Monthly — billed monthly at the price shown in the App Store.
- Annual — billed yearly at the price shown in the App Store, with a free trial for eligible first-time subscribers.
- Lifetime — a one-time purchase (see section 5).
Prices are shown in-app at the point of purchase and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account on confirmation.
04 Auto-renewal & cancellation
Monthly and Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the period ending. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
05 The "Lifetime" purchase
What "lifetime" means: the Lifetime option is a one-time payment that grants Loud+ features for the lifetime of the Loud app — not the lifetime of the purchaser. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. "Lifetime" refers to the operational life of the app as a product. If the app is discontinued, the feature set may no longer be maintained or available.
The Lifetime purchase is a non-consumable in-app purchase tied to your Apple ID and restorable on devices using the same Apple ID via "Restore Purchases".
06 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its standard policy, not by us directly. To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page. Where required by law (including UK and EU consumer rights), statutory refund and withdrawal rights still apply.
07 Your content & data
You retain ownership of everything you put into Loud — your gig entries, photos, notes, and recordings. This data is stored on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud. We do not claim any rights over it. You are responsible for the legality of content you add (for example, only adding photos you have the right to use). Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.
08 Acceptable use
- Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
- Do not use the app to break any law or infringe others' rights.
- Do not attempt to circumvent in-app purchase or subscription mechanisms.
- Do not misuse links to third-party ticketing or music services.
09 Third-party services
Loud integrates with third-party services including Apple (App Store, iCloud, Apple Music, Maps), RevenueCat (subscription management), Sentry (diagnostics), and ticketing partners. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or external websites you reach through links in the app.
10 Disclaimers
Loud is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data stored only on your device will never be lost — you are responsible for maintaining backups (for example, via iCloud).
11 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer under UK and EU law.
12 Changes to the app and these Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app. We may also revise these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
